The Liberland blockchain code is a fork of the Polkadot blockchain code.
(it is not a fork of the Polkadot blockchain, do not confuse).
For this reason, to understand the Liberland blockchain, it is recommended, and necessary, to understand the basics of Polkadot.
Notice also that the Polkadot documentation is abundant and of good quality and is de facto the reference for much of the Liberland blockchain base.
