Liberland Humanitarian Fund for the Support of Victims of Croatian Bureaucracy.
We're excited to announce, along with our new website, http://www.liberland.org, the Humanitarian Fund for the Support of Victims of Croatian Bureaucracy.

We're bustling with plans and our 700,000+ supporters are excited to continue working on their Liberland projects. While Croatia has a strong economy and good infrastructure, it's also known for its heavy bureaucracy. Taxpayer money is often not used well, for example, in chasing after people who are just settling in Liberland and following the law.

Croatia's public administration has other problems too, such as not upholding the Rule of Law. Imagine, in your country, if someone stole your bike, you'd call the police. But in Croatia, it looks like the police might help the thief instead of you!

In most countries, you need to do something wrong to face trouble. But in Croatia, simply being linked to Liberland, especially if you're not from the EU, can get you a 90-day ban, just because they suspect something. Isn't that odd?

Now, let's discuss the economic difficulties in areas like Osijek-Baranja and Zmajevac-Batina. Small businesses in Osijek-Baranja have their challenges, like not having enough legal and educational support, which they need to thrive financially and stay competitive. This is where taxpayer money should be going - but it just isn’t happening.

That's why we started the Humanitarian Fund for the Support of Victims of Croatian Bureaucracy. Our goal is to provide help to Croatian organisations facing these problems. We want to contribute to what should have been Croatia's real development, like supporting local small businesses. We hope by collaborating with freedom-loving people, we can inspire and bring positive changes. Change takes time, but remember, even the United States of America wasn't built in a day.

We've also thought about how to offer this aid without causing any embarrassment to the recipients. Since Liberland often faces unjust costs due to Croatia's actions, which don't align with the rule of law, we're using this situation to benefit both nations. The payments and confiscations, which aren’t lawful even under Croatian law, will be presented as going into this humanitarian fund, as our donation to benefit those from whom funds have been taken by taxes and lost between the wheels of senseless bureaucracy.
We truly hope that the money from these activities will be reinvested into Croatia’s future.
